Mrs. Moran, is a true pleasure for me and for Europasera to be able to interview you.
Moran: Baglini,I would be honored to do an interview with you.

The family and You Cunningham, has Fonzie, been a myth for a lot of generations, according to her because? Which is the secret of Happy Days?
Moran: The 1950's was a very happy time in America. families here in the 1950's had strong values. Happy Days was based on these happy times in America. When Happys Days was new on the air in the 1970's The Mothers and fathers that grew up in the 50's now had childern of there own. I believe Happy Days came to American Television right at the time when people in America needed to remember the good times. We as a country were just getting over our part in the Vietnam war.Happy Days gave us here and people around the World a chance to remember the good times,The start of Rock and Roll, and the start of Television and the technology that would soon change the world.

As you have been select for the part of Joanie?
Moran: I went on the audition for the pilot of Happy Days and did not get the part. The show was not chosen by ABC to be its own show.It was featured as part of a show called "Love American Style".The response from that episode drove ABC(American Broadcastiang Company)to make it its own show. For a reason I dont know the girl who had played Joanie Cunningham originally was not right for the T.V. series. I had filmed a Movie entilted "Lisa Bright and Dark" Starring Ann Baxter,Kay Lenz and Anson Williams a few years before. The Producers of Happy Days were looking for a new girl to play "Joanie". When Anson remembered I had been in the movie with him. He suggested to the producers that I would be perfect for the part. So they called
me in for an interview and I got the part.

Do you ever think to as you would have been you life without Happy Days?
MORAN: Well before Happy Days I had Been working in television since I was 4 years old.
I had done over 40 commercials for products such as Crest Toothpaste,Kelloggs Corn Flakes,Three Musketeers and many more. I was also in other television shows such as Daktari and The Don Rickes Show before Happy Days. So if Happy Days had not come along I'm sure I would have still been in show business. Starting so young I have never really thought about doing anything else. I truly LOVE Acting.

Moran: I think of all the other actors from Happy Days as "My second family". I keep in touch with them all and speak to them often.

Do you tell us a typical day on the set of Happy Days?
Moran: All of the cast members would arrive on the set around 12:00pm. We would all meet on stage and do a "run through" of the show as if it was being filmed. We would finish the first "run through" around 3:00pm. At that time we would all get into wardrobe. At 4:00pm we would have the second "run through" This time with a live audience which was mostly made up of childern. During this "run through" The Writers,Producers or Director would decide if any changes needed to be made such as lighting, sound and sometimes changes to the script. Next around 5:45 we would all go to dinner together at the "commissary" which is a restaurant on the Paramount lot. At 7:00pm we would go back to the set and get back into
wardrobe and have our makeup touched up. At 8:00pm we would film the show with an audience made up of all age groups exept young chidern under the age of 10. After the show we would all come out to greet the audience. We would all head home around 10:00 or 10:30pm.

After the end of Happy Days as you has been your life? Has there been the risk that its image remained too tied to the character of Joanie?
Moran: After Happy Days I did shows such as "The Love Boat","Muder She Wrote","Diagnosis Murder" and "G vs E". It dose seem like I will always be recognized as Joanie Cunningham. thats OK with me as i feel the people who like Happy Days are the best people in the world and i'm always happy to meet them.

Is true that she owed to interpret the protagonist in the Exorcist, (role that went to Linda Blair)? What has happened?
Moran:I did go on an audition for the part of "piglet" in the movie The Exorcist. My parents did not know what the movie was about until after the audition. When my parents read the script they said they did not want me to be in that movie. This was fine with me as I would not have liked to play that part anyway.

Mrs. Moran, Today as you lives the days?
Moran:Today I live my life with my Husband Steven. We have been married for 14 years. We have a house in the Angeles National Forest North of Los Angeles in California. We have a dog, cat,Californa alligator lizard and some fish.We used to have horses and chickens. I love animals.

For you which are Happy Days?
Moran: I have started acting in the theatre. I have starred in such plays as Neil Simon's
"Lost in Yonkers" and "They're Playing Our Song" I have also Starred in "Vanities" with Linda Blair. Anytime I can make people happy is a Happy Day to me.

You have ever been in Italy? Does thing like of our country?
Moran: I Love Italy!! I have been to Milan,Rome,Naples and Venice. I love real Italian food and the beautiful countryside. But most of all id have to say I Love the Italian People.Everyone is so nice. I plan on going back one day soon. Of all the places in Europe, Italy is the one i would most like to return to.
